Why I'm Involved

The Black is Tech Conference matters to me because I work at the intersection of finance and technology as a Finance Consultant. In my role I help Fortune 500 companies and Financial Service providers improve their finance functions often through technology transformations. In addition to my own passions, the tech industry has historically faced problems with diversity. Black professionals remain underrepresented in many tech roles and leadership positions and conferences like these are solutions to this problem. This conference addresses the gap by creating a space where Black voices are amplified and valued. It helps break down barriers by providing mentorship, education, and visibility.

By attending or participating in the Black is Tech Conference, I am joining a movement that promotes equity, inclusion, and access all while providing invaluable opportunities to be of service to others.
